About

Coastline Housing is an independent not-for-profit housing association based in Cornwall. It owns and manages more than 5,000 homes, supported by its subsidiary Coastline Services. The organisation employs over 300 people and holds Investors in People Silver. Its purpose is to provide affordable homes in a county where house prices are out of reach for many local people.

Performance & Accountability

Coastline is regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing (code LH4165). It holds the top grades for governance (G1) and viability (V1), last confirmed through an In-Depth Assessment in August 2021. The association reports a stable financial position with turnover of around £24 million.

Strategic Direction

Coastline has delivered more than 1,000 new homes in Cornwall between 2015 and 2021, supported by over £30 million in Homes and Communities Agency grant and £5 million from Cornwall Council. It continues to look for new development opportunities to meet local housing demand.

Resident Experience

The organisation promotes strong customer service and community impact. Resident feedback reflects sector-wide themes such as repairs, communication, and consistency of service.
